Bridge testing + Cement blocks testing (4th & 8th Jan 08)
This few weeks of pract for FCE (fundamentals of Civil engineering) had been quite a joy. We did some really interesting stuffs such as building the bridge and making cement cubes.. Where else can u do this man.. We all deserved a pat on the back for the hard work in making the bridge out of.... SATAY STICKS K! Unbelievably strong k our bridge! I shall post the photos of the bridges. AWESOME! Our bridge managed to withstand 43 freaking KGs of weights!!!! Seriously during the testing, there was a heart stopping moment when the bridge was about to cave in under the immense pressure! It was really thrilling to anticipate the fall of the bridge while at the same time crossing my fingers hard so that it will be able to withstand more weight. GREEDY!

During the cement making,(just this week-8th jan) I was like thinking.. 'we are like playing with CLAY and baking cake! COOL!' Have to give proper ratio to the amount of sand, water, stones and cement.. Just like in the process of baking, the ratio to the sugar, flour, egg and water have to be in the right ratio. SO fun! All it lacked was aircon=X. Guess I'm spoiled. =S
